Guide for brokers

Broker: equipping your fleet clients with a register

When the statement arrives, the broker is often the one asked, with no reliable register to answer from. This guide describes, step by step, how to set up a register shared with your principals, using the existing plans.

Why the broker is asked at statement time

The annual statement arrives and the company asks its broker whether the premium is right. Without a shared list of changes, the answer takes time.

A shared register gives everyone the same list of vehicles and changes.

The plans

Cabinet, Portfolio and White label: their prices and content are on the Brokers page. Flottaris does not compare offers and takes no commission: advice remains your profession.

Tacita combined offer

Tacita is another software product published by Webmind, for brokerage firms. Flottaris Cabinet is included at no extra cost in any active Tacita subscription, and companies that are clients of a Tacita firm get 3 months free, as shown on the Pricing page.

Setting it up, step by step

  1. 01

    Open the Cabinet plan

The firm opens its space and sees its principals' portfolio on a single screen.

  2. 02

    Invite the principal

The company receives an invitation and keeps its own Register or Control subscription.

  3. 03

    Set up the brokerage mandate

The mandate gives the firm access to the principal's register. The principal can revoke it at any time.

  4. 04

    Import the fleet

Vehicles are imported from a file, with matricule key, control plate and chassis, then checked before confirmation.

  5. 05

    Check the first statement

The insurer's statement is matched line by line against the register, and each discrepancy is shown with its rule.
